Things to do while visiting: We are just minutes from fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, flight seeing, beach combing, clam digging, fly-out fishing/hunting, fly-out bear viewing adventures, salmon and halibut charters, recreation center with indoor pool, racquetball courts and fitness center, golfing, bowling, movie theaters, National Wildlife Parks, not to mention local wildlife viewing! "This was my first time ever staying at a "Bed & Breakfast" and the experience was amazing! I went to Alaska to watch my son Bryan play baseball for the Penisula Oilers, my visit was for eight days. From my first conversation with Tina over the phone I felt this was going to be a great experence... she gave me a great car rental tip that I have been sworn to secrecy & can not reveal. I will say by the time I left Alaska everyone in town knew me by my rental car:) When I arrived I met George who is just a quality, top-shelf humanbeing. Their two teenage helpers were great, well manored young adults. The hospitality, the breakfasts the rooms were amazing. I am not kidding... Breakfasts ranged from french toast, to crepes, eggs and much, much more. I am not a drinker, but I did try both the home-made beer and wine, both were wonderful (and potent). Any and all other bed & breakfasts I stay at will be measured by my Alaskan home, the Blonde Bear bed & breakfast."
